Ah, just another lazy Sunday afternoon. You’d think I was hanging out at the Valley train station……no no, I was at New Farm - one of the richest suburbs in Brisbane, coincidentally right down the street from the Valley.

The Powerhouse at New Farm Park is a melting pot of people. Exhibit A – I sit down with my chai tea next to an English fellow. After observing my excessive crockery that’s only for one cup of tea, he proceeds to pull a blue NRMA Insurance mug from a plastic bag and then picks up his goon sack (cask wine) and pours himself a glass. He’s sitting next to a lady who’s got a diamond ring that could sink a ship and a BMW ring on her key chain.
